There could be as many as three openings on the Supreme Court in the coming years.
Led by Ruth Bader Ginsburg, there is much speculation about retirements on the bench.
And who is going to get nominated to the Supreme Court will put your jaw on the ground.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
During the most recent Democrat Presidential debate, likely nominee Joe Biden promised to appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court.
“Number one, I committed that if I’m elected president and have an opportunity to appoint someone to the courts — I will appoint the first black woman to the courts,” Biden declared.
“It’s required that they have representation now. It’s long overdue,” Biden concluded.
This immediately set off speculation that Biden was sending signals to Ruth Bader Ginsburg that it was safe to retire if Biden won the November election.
The 87-year-old Ginsburg – by any objective measure – can no longer perform her duties as a Supreme Court Justice.
Reports indicate Ginsburg requires help getting on and off the dais upon which the justices sit and allegedly falls asleep during key moments.
Ginsburg has dealt with four bouts with cancer and broken ribs.
Supreme Court observers speculate that Ginsburg only stayed on through Obama’s second term because she was confident Hillary Clinton would win the 2016 election.
Being the radical left-wing feminist that she is, Ginsburg wanted the symbolism of the first female President picking her replacement.
But after Donald Trump’s upset victory, Ginsburg clung to her seat on the court gambling that Democrats would win in 2020.
If Biden wins, that bet will pay off.
And the former Vice President disturbed many Americans by declaring that identity politics would serve as the North Star for his selection process.
Biden did not mention qualifications or judicial temperament.
Instead, Biden looks at the Supreme Court as a political reward to pass out to favored groups much like an old style machine politician would.
Biden knows he needs to run up the score with women and minority voters.
In 2016, Donald Trump drove evangelical conservatives to the polls and won record levels of support based on Trump releasing a list of potential Supreme Court nominees.
Democrats know that they can always count on their Supreme Court justices to vote like political activists and never turn into a “Maverick” in the court.
Liberals do not need a list of names to assess if Biden is really on their side.
The foundation of the Democrat Party in 2020 is rooted in racial grievances against America.
Liberals believe America was founded as a racist, sexist, homophobic and xenophobic nation and that with the election of Donald Trump, the supposed systemic racism of American society only grew to even more unacceptable levels.
In their view, the only way to level the playing field is to pick leaders based on gender and racial demographics.
Since Biden is an old, white man – the picture of the privileged class identity politics obsessed Democrat voters want to replace – Biden can only win the support of the fringe left-wing base by promising to check off their identity politics wish list for the key appointments in his administration.
And that starts with the Supreme Court.
