Michelle Obama Saw One Number and Decided if This was the Year to Run for President

Michelle Obama is every Democrats dream candidate for 2020.

Despite their public boasts, in private many Democrats worry no one in the current field can beat Donald Trump.

And now Michelle Obama saw one number and decided if this was the year to run for President.

Democrats are anxious about their 2020 prospects.

Liberals started 2019 believing whoever they nominated to take on Donald Trump was a shoo-in for victory.

But thanks to a roaring economy, victories on several policy fronts as well as the Democrats’ impeachment witch hunt debacle, Donald Trump is watching his poll numbers rise.

A USA/Today Suffolk poll found the President leading every major Democrat challenger.

Even a fake news CNN poll showed the President tied or leading all his Democrat rivals in the 15 crucial battleground states.

Every time Democrats get hit with bad news on the Presidential Election front, they begin to ask one question.

Will Michelle Obama run for president?

Three of the four leading Democrats are over seventy years old and white.

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is 37 years old, but his homosexuality limited his appeal to black and Hispanic voters.

Michelle Obama stands as the only candidate that could recreate the “Obama coalition” that provided the super charged turnout that made Barack Obama only the second Democrat since Franklin Roosevelt to be re-elected with more than 50 percent of the popular vote.

The former First Lady repeatedly denied any interest in running for president.

But she polls as the Democrat with the best chance to defeat Donald Trump according to Rasmussen Reports.

Rasmussen Reports wrote of their poll:

With some Democrats worrying that the current hopefuls for their party’s nomination can’t beat President Trump next year, speculation has begun anew that Michelle Obama will enter the race. The former first lady still has a narrowing advantage over the president in a hypothetical 2020 matchup.

A new Rasmussen Report’s national telephone and online survey finds that Obama edges Trump 48% to 45% among Likely U.S. Voters, with seven percent (7%) undecided.

While Michelle Obama may claim she doesn’t want to run for president, that poll combined with her husband’s choices in the 2020 election paint a different picture.

Former President Barack Obama has not endorsed any candidate currently in the field.

In fact, during a recent public appearance Obama claimed women are better leaders than men.

“If you look at the world and look at the problems, it’s usually old people, usually old men, not getting out of the way,” Obama claimed during a speech on leadership.

“I’m absolutely confident that, for two years, if every nation on earth was run by women, you would see a significant improvement across the board on just about everything — living standards and outcomes,” Obama told the crowd.

These comments struck many as a dig at Obama’s former Vice President Joe Biden, who is a 77-year-old man that – according to Obama – won’t step aside and let women lead.

Biden tried to laugh off the remark at a recent Democrat debate.

“I’m going to guess he wasn’t talking about me either,” Biden falsely claimed.

But if Obama believed women made better leaders, he could have easily endorsed one of the many women running for the Democrat Party nomination.

Instead Obama kept his powder dry in the hopes the Democrat nomination ends up deadlocked heading into the convention.

At that point Michelle Obama will offer herself up as a candidate, Barack Obama will endorse her, and the delegates will stampede her to the nomination.
