Joe Biden’s history of corruption is coming back to bite the Demcorats.
Despite the fake news media’s best efforts the crimes committed during the Obama administration are coming to light.
And Joe Biden was caught red handed in this quid pro quo bribe.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
The Democrats have such a short memory that they conveniently can’t remember any of Obama’s Middle Eastern mistakes.
Joe Biden pushed hard for the nice guy approach that Democrats are pushing for now.
If Iranian friendship could have been bought, Biden would have bought it.
The Democrats view everything through the lens of economics, but throwing cash at problems isn’t solving America’s problems, it’s just making America poorer.
Biden was a key player behind the Iranian nuclear deal which give the Iranian government access to over a hundred billion dollars with the naïve hope that Iran would use it to improve its economy and its people.
Instead, the money went to fund military and terrorist expansion.
In 2017, Israeli defense officials estimated that Iran was spending $800 million funding Hezbollah, and $70 million on Hamas.
Biden is now trying to make the claim that Trump caused this crisis by withdrawing from the Iranian deal.
Biden called Donald Trump’s handling on Iran “dangerously incompetent” but his own weak history on foreign affairs is making the presidential hopeful extremely vulnerable.
According to the Washington Examiner:
BIDEN HAS A LONG HISTORY OF FOREIGN POLICY POSITIONS THAT COULD DRAW RENEWED CRITICISM WITH MIDDLE EAST POLICY SHOT TO THE FOREFRONT OF NATIONAL POLICY, AND HE HAS CONTRADICTED OR DISTANCED HIMSELF FROM MUCH OF THAT RECORD ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL.
“HE HAS BEEN ON EVERY SIDE OF EVERY FOREIGN POLICY ISSUE — THE BALKANS, CHINA POST-TIANANMEN, IRAQ, RUSSIA, AND AFGHANISTAN — DEPENDING ON WHAT IS MOST CONVENIENT AT ANY POINT IN TIME,” SAID MICHAEL RUBIN, A RESIDENT SCHOLAR AT THE AMERICAN ENTERPRISE INSTITUTE AND MIDDLE EAST POLICY EXPERT. “NOT EVEN HIS SUPPORTERS SUGGEST HE HAS INTELLECTUAL CONSISTENCY.”
BIDEN VOTED FOR THE IRAQ WAR IN 2002 WHILE HE WAS A DELAWARE SENATOR. IN A JULY DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY DEBATE, BIDEN CLAIMED THAT HE OPPOSED THE EFFORT “FROM THE MOMENT” THE MARCH 2003 INVASION STARTED. BUT THE PUBLIC RECORD SHOWS THAT BIDEN SUPPORTED THE EFFORT MUCH LATER, SAYING IN JULY 2003 THAT HE STILL THOUGHT THE JOB WAS “DOABLE.” ON THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE, BIDEN SAID, “I VOTED TO GO INTO IRAQ, AND I’D VOTE TO DO IT AGAIN.”
NUMEROUS HIGH-LEVEL OBAMA ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS SAID THAT BIDEN OPPOSED THE RAID THAT KILLED OSAMA BIN LADEN IN 2011. ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL IN IOWA ON FRIDAY, BIDEN DENIED THAT HE ADVISED PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AGAINST THE RAID.
Niccolò Machiavelli wrote in 1576 that “It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both.”
In terms of foreign relations, this is absolutely true. Iran is far less likely to engage in hostilities with a president who will kill their terrorists instead of sending them cash.
