Not every Republican is on board with President Trump.
Some are still working against him even though they claim to support the President’s re-election.
And now Fox News called out the one Republican viewers could not believe.
As Conservative Revival reports:
The Senate Intelligence Committee released its fifth and final volume of its report on alleged Russian election meddling in the 2016 election.
From start to finish Republicans allowed the top Democrat on the committee Virginia Senator Mark Warner to run the investigation and shape the media coverage of its findings.
That continues to the bitter end when the Senate’s final report continued the Russian collusion nonsense.
Interim Intelligence Committee Chairman Florida Republican Marco Rubio tried to highlight that the committee found no evidence of collusion during the campaign, but the rest of his statement painted a picture of a Trump team in league with the Russians.
“We can say, without any hesitation, that the Committee found absolutely no evidence that then-candidate Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian government to meddle in the 2016 election…Russia took advantage of members of the Transition Team’s relative inexperience in government, opposition to Obama Administration policies, and Trump’s desire to deepen ties with Russia to pursue unofficial channels through which Russia could conduct diplomacy.”
In the report the Senate Intelligence Committee tries to link the Trump campaign and Roger Stone to WikiLeaks releasing John Podesta’s hacked emails after the Washington Post broke the Access Hollywood tape story through conservative author Jerome Corsi.
However, while Stone called him twice before the Access Hollywood tape story broke Corsi told the special counsel he had no way to get in touch with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
“Now, my recollection is that Roger is saying, ‘You know this Billy (Bush) is going to be dropped and Assange better get going. Why don’t you get to your buddy Assange and tell him to start,’” Corsi claimed in an interview with CNN “Well, I didn’t have any contact with Assange.”
Fox Business Channel host Lou Dobbs ripped Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for allowing this report to drop the week of the Democrat National Convention.
Dobbs accused McConnell and other Republicans on the committee of working against Trump’s re-election.
“Senate Republicans are clearly working against President Trump. There’s no other way to explain the conduct of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who would’ve allowed this report to be released in the middle of the Democratic National Convention. McConnell, along with the likes of Marco Rubio, Lindsey Graham, Richard Burr, did I mention Mitt Romney — all showing that they are part of the problem in this nation and not the solution.”
At the very least this report allowed the fake news media to write misleading or outright false headlines that allowed the public to think the Senate turned up proof of Russian collusion.
“Republican-Led Senate Intel Report Outlines Russian Connections, Counterintelligence Risks Linked to Trump 2016 Campaign,” Mediaite wrote.
“Breaking News: A Republican-led Senate report on 2016 election interference lays out an extensive web of contacts between Trump campaign advisers and Russian officials. The report confirmed the findings of the special counsel’s investigation,” the New York Times posted on social media.
Of all the investigations into the Russian collusion hoax the Senate Intelligence Committee was by far and away the worst.
Republicans controlled the committee but allowed Democrat partisan and conspiracy theorist Mark Warner to effectively dictate the terms of the probe.
And that led to a final report that allowed Democrats and their allies in the fake news media to gaslight the public into thinking there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
