Donald Trump Shook His Head In Disbelief When He Saw The Results Of This Poll

The 2020 election is shaping up to be even more unpredictable than the 2016 contest.

The Democrats saw a record number of candidates enter the race.

And Donald Trump shook his head in disbelief when he saw the results of this poll.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

President Donald Trump stunned the world when he defeated Hillary Clinton in the upset election of a lifetime in 2016.

But if this new poll is anything to go by, he may have to pull off another upset to win a second term as President in 2020.

While the President is in a strong position to win re-nomination for the Republican Party, he’s got many challenges ahead of him if he wants to remain in office for another four-year term.

And one new poll could serve to be a major wakeup call for Trump’s re-election campaign.

That’s because NBC News and the Wall Street Journal just released a new round of 2020 matchups that show Trump trailing many key Democrats who are seeking the party’s nomination to go up against him.

“Former Vice President Joe Biden leads the president by 9 points among registered voters, 51 percent to 42 percent — outside of the poll’s margin of error of plus-minus 3.5 percentage points. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is ahead of Trump by 7 points, 50 percent to 43 percent. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., holds a 5-point advantage, 48 percent to 43 percent. And Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., is ahead by just 1 point, 45 percent to 44 percent — a jump ball,”reports NBC.

While the mainstream media network’s coverage of American politics is indisputably left leaning in nature, NBC did team up with the Wall Street Journal to conduct the poll, one of the few newspapers in the country that hasn’t moved sharply to the left in recent years.

And what’s more, while there’s still a year and a half to go before the election, the early signs point to a tough road ahead for the President.

He’s still got time to improve his numbers, and most Americans haven’t even heard of all the Democratic candidates facing him next year, and there’s no guarantee that the Democrats will end up nominating someone popular to face Trump in 2020.

“With more than 200 days until Iowa caucuses and more than 470 days until Election Day 2020, the poll is a very early snapshot of the general election, and much can change,” adds NBC when breaking down the poll results.

All of these open-ended questions suggest that the next election could be a complete coin flip. There’s no telling which side has the advantage, with Trump behind in the polls but enjoying the benefits of being the incumbent and having a massive cash advantage over the entire Democratic field.

This means that every little advantage that either side can pick up over the next year and a half could be the difference between victory and defeat come next November.

Who do you think will be the Democratic nominee for President, and do you think Trump can defeat them in 2020?
