Barack Obama Made a Promise That Donald Trump Never Expected Him To Keep

Donald Trump and Barack Obama spent nearly a decade fighting.

Their rivalry took a strange turn.

And Barack Obama made a promise that Donald Trump never expected him to keep.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

One of Donald Trump’s signature achievements in office will be Operation Warp Speed which developed two vaccines that are over 90 percent effective in dealing with the coronavirus in record time.

During the presidential campaign, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Andrew Cuomo and Joe Biden spread conspiracy theories about the vaccine driving down Democrats’ willingness to take it.

These prominent Democrats wanted to scare Americans about the vaccine because they were afraid voters would credit President Trump for this significant achievement.

Now that Biden’s handlers think Biden will be President next year they want to undo that damage.

On Sirius XM’s “The Joe Madison Show,” former President Barack Obama tried to reach skeptical black voters and convince them to take the vaccine.

“People like Anthony Fauci, who I know, and I’ve worked with, I trust completely,” Obama declared. “So if Anthony Fauci tells me this vaccine is safe, and can vaccinate, you know, immunize you from getting COVID, absolutely, I’m going to take it.”

Obama went so far as to say he would take the vaccine on television to convince the nervous Democrats that the vaccine is safe.

“I may end up taking it on TV or having it filmed,” Obama added. “Just so that people know that I trust this science, and what I don’t trust is getting COVID.”

Former Vice President Biden echoed this pledge to publicly let a doctor jab a needle in his arm on TV.

“I’d be happy to do that,” Biden added, “When Dr. [Anthony] Fauci says we have a vaccine that is safe, that’s the moment in which I will stand before the public and say that.”

Naturally, Barack Obama played the race card to make his pitch for black voters to take the vaccine.

Obama referenced the unethical Tuskegee experiments which took place from 1932 to 1972 when 600 black men enrolled in a CDC study.

399 of the men had latent syphilis and were not told of their diagnosis and were only given placebos as treatments so researchers could study the disease running its course.

Obama compared the Trump coronavirus vaccine to this dark period in American history.

“I understand, historically, everything dating back all the way to the Tuskegee experiments and so forth, why the African-American community would have some skepticism,” Obama added. “But the fact of the matter is, is that vaccines are why we don’t have polio anymore.”

Obama also claimed that minorities needed to take the vaccine because black and Hispanic voters have higher death rates.

“We have the highest death rates from this thing, and are most exposed and most vulnerable, in part because we have a lot of preexisting conditions,” Obama continued.

At first glance it is surprising that Obama throws his reputation behind vaccines developed under Donald Trump.

But Democrats think Joe Biden will be President and that Donald Trump will not be able to reverse the fraud in the 2020 election, and they see vaccinating a substantial portion of the population as the key to getting the economy back on track.

If the economy is still sputtering, Republicans will wipe Democrats out and run the table in the 2022 and 2024 elections.

And Barack Obama is doing his part to try and prevent a Republican rout.
