Amy Coney Barrett is heading towards confirmation on the Supreme Court.

But before that happened this bombshell dropped.

And Amy Coney Barrett testing positive for coronavirus left Trump speechless.

After Donald Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, health officials began trying to trace who he came into contact with.

One event that drew a lot of attention was the White House event where the President announced Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Barrett came in close contact with the President and then held a series of meetings with Republican Senators.

That led to Democrats demanding Republicans that met with Barrett enter quarantine in a bid to postpone her confirmation hearings in a bid to postpone the final vote on her nomination until after the election.

Amy Coney Barrett ended up testing negative for coronavirus.

And there may have been a good reason for that.

That’s because Amy Coney Barrett tested positive for the coronavirus over the summer and thankfully made a full recovery.

The Washington Post exclusively reported:

Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett was diagnosed with the coronavirus earlier this year but has since recovered, three officials familiar with her diagnosis told The Washington Post.

Two of the officials said she tested positive for the virus in the summer. All of the people spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose her medical condition.

The White House declined to comment on Barrett’s earlier diagnosis.

As the Supreme Court nominee, Barrett is now tested daily and most recently had a negative diagnosis for covid-19 on Friday morning, according to deputy White House press secretary Judd Deere.

Senators that came in to close contact with Barrett were not in any danger of infection.

The number of coronavirus survivors that suffered re-infection is very rare and it’s unclear if individuals can contract a second and serious case of the coronavirus.

There are very rare occurrences of an individual contracting the coronavirus twice.

Currently scientists believe coronavirus antibodies last for at least three months after an individual recovers from coronavirus.

But that does not mean that immunity lasts for just three months.

In fact, immunity can last longer than that.

There is no reason to delay Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation process.

Coney Barrett already tested negative for the coronavirus and likely has a previous immunity.

Democrats are exploiting the President’s coronavirus positive test result for political gain because they know they don’t have the votes to stop Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation.

So they have latched on to this coronavirus scare as a last-ditch desperation effort to push the confirmation past the election.
