Democrats across the country are panicking that no candidate currently running for President can defeat Donald Trump.
All their eye are turning towards one “savior” candidate.
And now all hell broke loose when Michelle Obama dropped one hint about her future plans to run for office.
Jenna Bush – daughter of former President George W. Bush – interviewed former First Lady Michelle Obama for NBC’s the “Today Show.”
Bush – who is a RINO – framed her conversation with Obama as two individuals that supposedly came from opposite ends of the spectrum sitting down for a civil discussion.
The implication is that in these highly polarized times, Republicans and Democrats have more in common than what divides them and the rancor in the current political climate is all Donald Trump’s fault.
However, observers paying close attention noticed something else.
Bush asked Michelle Obama about the uproar on the left after radical homosexual talk show host Ellen DeGeneres was photographed sitting next to her father.
Modern-day liberalism is based on “cancel culture” where people that do not fully respect identity politics in every waking moment of their life are exiled from polite society.
Obama responded that she spent time with former President Bush at funerals and that Obama realized that even though they allegedly disagreed on policy, they both shared common values such as “humanity, love and compassion.”
“I had an opportunity to sit by your father at funerals, the highs and the lows. We shared stories about our kids and about our parents. Our values are the same. We disagree on policy, but we don’t disagree on humanity, love and compassion. I think that’s true for all of us. We just get lost in our fear of what’s different,” Obama told Bush.
The former First Lady’s message was unmistakable.
Obama offered up an expression of the unity and high-minded American ideals that could serve as the foundation for a 2020 Presidential campaign message.
Many Americans are tired of the hatred and division caused by the left ever since Donald Trump won the election.
Michelle Obama entering the 2020 contest promising to “heal” the divisions of the last several years and move to a post-partisan political landscape – combined with the Obama name’s ability to inspire turnout among minority and young voters – is a powerful message that could carry the day next November.
And just in case anyone missed the subtlety of Obama’s proto-stump speech, the former First Lady beat everyone over the head with a clear reminder that she intended to remain active in public life.
Bush asked Michelle Obama what she had planned for 2020.
“More of this. Building up that next generation of leaders replacing ourselves, getting out of the way and letting some of these young people sit in some of these seats. Barack and I will be doing that for the rest of our lives,” Obama responded.
